Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Who we are and acceptance

Artiflow is operated by Artiflow App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17323923), registered office 44 Bridgewater Court, Middlesbrough, England, TS4 2GE (“we”, “us”). These Terms are between you and Artiflow App Ltd.

By creating an account, starting a trial, or subscribing to Artiflow, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Artiflow is a business tool. By creating an account you confirm that you are using it for your business or trade, and not as a consumer.

2. The service

Artiflow is a booking and client management platform for make-up artists and beauty professionals. Features include booking management, contract creation and e-signatures, payment tracking, team management, and client communication tools.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes that substantially reduce functionality, except where immediate action is required for security or legal reasons.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must not share your account with others.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Artiflow.

4. Free trial, subscriptions and payments

  • Free trial: a new account can start a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it, you are not charged during the trial, and the paid plan starts automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. A trial can be used once.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, through Stripe if you subscribed on the web, or through Apple if you subscribed in the iOS app.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date (for subscriptions bought through Apple, at least 24 hours before it).
  • To cancel on the web: Business → Subscription → Manage Billing, then cancel in the billing page that opens. To cancel an iOS subscription: Business → Subscription → Manage subscription, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • No partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law, where this section says otherwise, or where we end your account without cause (see section 9). If a charge appears to be in error, contact us within 7 days. Subscriptions bought through Apple are refunded by Apple under its own rules.
  • If you are a consumer: if, despite the confirmation in section 1, you are using Artiflow wholly or mainly outside your business or trade, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full, unless you have asked us to start the service within that period and acknowledged that you would lose this right. To use this right, email hello@artiflowapp.com. Refunds are made within 14 days of your request.
  • We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' written notice. Changes take effect at your next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, the payment provider will retry it on its normal schedule and we will email you; if it still cannot be taken, access is paused until it is resolved. Your bookings and clients are kept.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Artiflow. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to host and display it solely to provide the service to you.

Reporting content: if you believe content on Artiflow infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@artiflowapp.com with what the content is, where it appears, and why you believe it infringes. We may remove or disable access to content we reasonably believe is infringing or unlawful, and we may suspend the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload — including client data, contract terms, and marketing materials — is lawful and that you have the necessary rights and consents. You are the data controller for your clients' personal data processed through Artiflow. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. E-signatures

Artiflow provides an electronic signature feature for booking contracts. Signatures are captured with a timestamp, typed name, IP address, and browser user agent to form an audit trail. These are intended to constitute valid electronic signatures under the Electronic Communications Act 2000 as retained in UK law. We make no guarantee of enforceability in any specific jurisdiction — for high-value contracts, seek independent legal advice.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Artiflow to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
  • Use automated bots or scrapers against the platform.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written consent.
  • Harass, defraud, or harm clients or third parties.
  • Use texts sent through Artiflow for anything but your own bookings and appointments. Texts are for bookings, not for marketing. Every text includes how to opt out, replying STOP stops all texts to that number from every artist on Artiflow, and you must not try to get around it.

Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

8. Limitation of liability

Artiflow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss (including loss of revenue, bookings, or data) arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees paid by you in that period, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

9. Termination

By you: Cancel at any time in Business → Subscription → Manage Billing (or, for an iOS subscription, in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Your account remains active until the end of the paid period.

By us: We may suspend or terminate immediately for breach of these Terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. Termination without cause entitles you to a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees.

Deleting your account: You can delete your account in the app (Business → Account). There is then a 30-day grace period in which you can restore it or export your data. After that your account details, content and client details are permanently erased. A restricted archive of payment, booking and signed-contract records is kept for 6 years from the booking date for tax, legal and dispute purposes, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before formal proceedings, contact us at hello@artiflowapp.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally within 30 days.

11. Changes to these Terms

We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
